The Teixeira Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy was founded by Head Instructor Ricardo Teixeira in August of 2000. Ricardo Teixeira opened the academy so that he could do what he loved most: teach, train and pass on the long tradition of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Our Academy specializes in teaching real world self-defense to students of all ages.

We truly believe that with the right attitude and right instruction anyone can learn how to defend themselves.

Our goal is to provide our students and their families with a safe environment where they feel comfortable to train and working out.
